Is there a minimum or maximum age for using abortion pills?
No. There is no age limit to having an abortion with pills. The medicines will work the same for a pregnant person of any age. The doses of abortion pills Mifepristone and Misoprostol are also the same regardless of the age of the pregnant person, and younger people do not need to take lower doses.
Please note: "Age" in this article refers to the age of the pregnant person, not of the embryo or fetus. Abortion pills should only be used at home in the first twelve weeks of pregnancy.
