Using 4-pill abortion pill packs from Women on Web

Sometimes, women who order abortion pills from Women on Web receive a pack that contains one Mifepristone tablet and three Misoprostol tablets.

A pack from Women on Web. Mifepristone is labelled green, Misoprostol is labelled orange.
Although this may seem like a small number of tablets, the Misoprostol tablets in these packs are double strength. This means each tablet of Misoprostol in these packs contains 400mcg of Misoprostol, compared to 200mcg of Misoprostol in standard tablets.

These packs are usually used as follows:

1. The Mifepristone tablet is taken first. It can be swallowed with water.
2. After approximately 24 hours, two Misoprostol tablets are placed under the tongue for 30 minutes, where they dissolve. The remains of the pills may be swallowed.
3. After another three hours, the last Misoprostol tablet is placed under the tongue for 30 minutes, where it dissolves. The remains of the pill may be swallowed. This last pill helps ensure the miscarriage is complete.
