What happens if I throw up or vomit after taking abortion pills?

If you vomit in the first 90 minutes after swallowing or dissolving Mifepristone, it may be less effective. However, you can still continue with the abortion and take Misoprostol the next day.
 
If you vomit 90 minutes or more after swallowing Mifepristone, then it has already been absorbed and you do not need to worry.

If you were holding Misoprostol under your tongue for less than 30 minutes and you are able to recover the tablets, you can rinse them and put them back under your tongue. However, if you vomit and you cannot recover the tablets, you should take another dose of Misoprostol if you have it. Putting Misoprostol inside the vagina is also an option. If you vomit after you have held Misoprostol under your tongue for 30 minutes, then the medicine has already been absorbed and you do not need to worry.
